Reviews
Welcome to the Reviews page.
Before you continue to the Catalogs, please take a moment to check out the different types of categories the products are based upon.
Notice there is no final score or something like that. This is because a program that for example did score 10 out of 10 for one guy can be 5 out of 10 for another guy. And this isn’t quite helpful.
So mate, check out the segmentation below:
Name
Obviously, this is the product name. Sometimes there are two or more ways of calling one product. I’ll list them as well.
Author
The name/s of the author/s that created the product. I’ll list the general creator. Guest speakers/contributors might be listed in the review itself.
Format
This is the form the product is made. Variations can be: e-book, video, audio. It can be distributed via download, separate DVD/CD, can be paperback or online access site.
Generally every type of product have different benefits. Let’s see each one:
E-books are excellent for graphics, formulas, charts and similar types of info. E-books although fail do deliver the feeling of the author as other types of products can. E-books however can be printed and notes can be taken directly on them. You can bring sections of it with you as reference guide on the field. Some audio and video products also include e-book transcripts and reference guides with them. E-books are usually the cheapest.
Audio is pretty good for listening while you’re driving, waiting, flying and so on. You can run it on any mp3 or audio player and have it with you on your daily tasks. The bad side of the audio is that it’s bad for lists or any sort of visual representation of the information such as chart or diagram. You can listen for 5 minutes one guru that’ll be able to give you ten times faster and better explanation by simple table or chart. Also on audio you can lose focus and then have to rewind back which on mobile audio players can be annoying.
Video have both visual and audio cues. Probably the best one of all (also the most expensive). You can watch the guru himself talking to you and watch his gestures, or a presentation of the material he is speaking about. Videos provide the best focus environment for learning.
Coming to the distribution – most products are downloadable. There are few that are shipped with DVD/CD. Typically those are very high quality (audio and video quality). There are also online access sites that contain the material (audio, video, text). Sometimes those sites include download options, sometimes not. I’ll include that info as well.
Readability
How easy is to get the information inside the product. Some are more complex than others.
Level
Novice, Intermediate, Advanced or All. Some products are meant for guys that already mastered specific aspect of the game. I’ll try to include more information in this category, exactly who is the product for.
Category
What sphere is included – inner game, techniques, physical escalation, approaching and so on. And of course if it’s combination of them.
Volume
This is how much pages or minutes is the whole package, including bonuses if there are. Keep in mind the volume is rather relative as it highly depends on things as the font size, how fast is speaking the guru, how much he digs in the concepts and so on. Anyway having a general idea of the volume is helpful in all cases.
Cost
The price of the product. Most of the cases it’s in USD. I’ll include the payment details if more than the usual is possible. For example is the system offering installment payments or if it does support only PayPal. Keep in mind the cost changes as gurus test out different prices and sometimes my reviews may be outdated.
Review
And of course the most important part – the content. I’ll try to be as unbiased as possible when spilling my guts out. I’ll compare it to my experience, to guys I know that are in this stuff, and won’t tell you how “awesome” is something because it just sounds so. Until tested and proved I’ll stay critically neutral. And this means I’ll update the reviews as my view of life becomes more wider and deeper. Stuff that might seem awkward at one point of my life might actually make perfect sense later (or in that matter in some of my friends) so nothing is final.
At the end there will be Pros and Cons part that will try summarize the benefits and drawbacks of the particular product. In any case after reading the review I’m sure you’ll be a lot more informed about certain product rather than reading only the promo page.
